Washing machine: moving volume and packing

Washing machine: 0.5 m³, 0.167 LDM. Move it upright with the drum locked, and allow 65–90 kg for two people.

A washing machine takes about 0.5 m³ and 0.167 load metres, so it shares a van with several other appliances. Keep it upright and lock the drum: residual water and the suspension springs suffer when the unit is laid on its side. Typical weight is 65–90 kg, so plan two people or a sack trolley.
