Piano: moving volume and packing

Piano: 1.5 m³, 0.5 LDM. Use a piano dolly and four movers, pad the keyboard and never tilt beyond 30 degrees.

An upright piano takes about 1.5 m³ and 0.5 load metres, and its concentrated weight is the real challenge rather than the volume. Book a piano mover or at least four people with a piano dolly, and never tilt it more than about 30 degrees. The keyboard lid and pedals should be padded and fixed before anyone lifts.
