King mattress: 0.2 m³, 0.067 LDM. Measure doors first, bag it and carry it on edge with two people.

A king mattress is counted at about 0.2 m³ and 0.067 load metres, though its footprint is the largest of the three mattress sizes. Measure the stairwell and door frames first; a king often has to be carried on edge and slightly bent around corners. Protect it with a bag and avoid folding along the core.

How to pack

  1. Measure doors and stairs before carrying and clear the route.
