Corner sofa: moving volume and packing

Corner sofa: 0.4 m³, 0.133 LDM. Split the modules, label left and right, and wrap each part separately.

A corner sofa is counted at about 0.4 m³ and 0.133 load metres per item, but its two modules are far easier to move separately. Split the modules and mark left and right so reassembly is quick. Each part is light enough for two people, though the chaise is the heaviest piece.

How to pack

  1. Separate the modules and label left, right and chaise with tape.
  2. Remove the legs and loose cushions, then wrap each module in blankets.
  3. Load the modules flat against each other and strap them so they cannot slide.

For storage

Store the modules upright and separately so the seams do not take permanent pressure.
