A chest of drawers occupies about 0.7 m³ and 0.233 load metres, a compact item that is easy to underestimate. Empty the drawers, because even clothes add weight and pull the runners out of alignment. Tape each drawer shut, wrap the top corners and carry it with the drawers facing the van wall.

How to pack
- Empty all drawers and push them fully closed.
- Tape every drawer front to the carcass and pad the top corners.
- Carry it upright with two people and load it with the drawer fronts inward.
