Armchair: moving volume and packing

Armchair: 0.8 m³, 0.267 LDM. Remove the legs, wrap the arms and load it upright with the back to the wall.

An armchair measures about 0.8 m³ and 0.267 load metres, small enough to fit beside a sofa in a van. Take off the legs and wrap the arms, which are the first parts to scuff against a door frame. Load it upright with the back against the wall so the seat does not carry other items.

How to pack

  1. Remove the legs and tape them to the frame.
  2. Wrap the arms and back in blankets and fix them with stretch film.
  3. Load it upright with the back to the wall and nothing stacked on the seat.

Store upright on a dry surface, with no heavy items on the upholstery.
